Language for Life Segments: Conjunctions – Jan 26 2022 (PD437)
AUD $71.50
Every time I do a Language for Life workshop, I can’t help wishing we had more time. The parts of speech are so interesting, so dynamic, I feel like we’re only scratching the surface sometimes.
Please note, as of Monday Dec 13:
Hello all participants in the Language for Life Segments Series.
Due to accidentally stepping on glass at the weekend, Lyn will have to undergo a surgical procedure today to remove a large shard that remains in her foot.
It is highly unlikely that she will be a good presenter on Wednesday Dec 15 for our scheduled Verbs workshop.
We have made the decision to move the live version of Verbs to Wednesday, December 22, when she was set to present Adjectives and extend the series one week to accommodate this.
Therefore, if you were coming to Verbs, Adjectives, Adverbs, Prepositions or Conjunctions, they are now going to occur a week later than advertised. Here is the updated timetable:
December 22, 2021: Verbs
January 5, 2022: Adjectives
January 12, 2022: Adverbs
January 19, 2022: Prepositions
January 26, 2022: Conjunctions
We realise that January 26, 2022 is an Australian public holiday, but have decided to go ahead regardless, as our audience is from all over the world. Lyn will be traveling all other Wednesdays until April after that, so the choice is very limited.
The recordings will be placed on your courses one week afterwards as advertised.
Hugely sorry for any inconvenience caused and see you for Verbs next week!
See you there!
Lyn
90 minutes every Wednesday this southern hemisphere summer, northern hemisphere winter. We’ll turn these workshops into mini-courses.
All who sign up for the live workshops will be placed on the mini-courses afterwards for 6 weeks of access to the recordings and other resources. So you can sign up, come and join us live, or if you miss it, you can just take the course in your own time. You can even do both!
Cost: AUD$45 per segment or AUD$245 for 7.
Note: Prices are inclusive of 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST) for all Australian residents.
Target audience: Educators wishing to gain a deeper and broader understanding of grammar as it relates to identifying and categorising the parts of speech. If you have the Language for Life book or have done the Language for Life course, you will be somewhat familiar with this material, but it goes into each part of speech in a way previously not presented. There will also be much opportunity for questions and answers.
Here’s a timetable for some major world cities:
Mini-Courses released one week after each live event. Access is for six weeks.
Looking forward to a wonderful time with you all!
