The ideas that follow are just that: ideas, rather than a set program. There are plenty of good quality structured literacy programs on the market already. The tips and techniques here are mainly for the children who need small group and/or individual intervention.

I have a specific setup in my practice consisting of a large whiteboard and magnetic tiles.

I use a mixture of the Lindamood LiPS magnetic tiles, the Read-Write Inc. tiles and my own self-produced suffixes and coloured tiles.

The diagram below shows the setup, which covers one of the walls of the office.
