Science of Learning, Reading and Writing Masterclass 3

COURSE STRUCTURE AND CONTENT

In any given moment we have two options: to step forward into growth or step back into safety.”

Abraham Maslow

Welcome to the third Science of Learning, Reading and Writing Masterclass.

This time the theme is ‘change’.

On six consecutive occasions from August 23 to September 27 2022, six powerful agents of change will deliver a 75 minute live talk. Those talks will be recorded and made available to all participants.

Our first four talks will be given by individual speakers, and our last two talks will be a collaborative effort by Professor Pamela Snow and Dr Tanya Serry of La Trobe University.

As each talk is delivered, this course will expand and you will have access to:

  • the live events
  • speaker handouts one week before each event
  • a recording of each event
  • a quiz to revise and test your knowledge
  • a forum to share ideas, write queries, post feedback and chat to our online community of practice
  • optional resources for further reading (these are continually updated and added to and we happily take suggestions!)

SOCIAL MEDIA

In addition to the live forums on the course, we are also active on social media. Do give us a follow!

YOUR PATIENCE IS APPRECIATED

This course is being built in real time. Right now, there is nothing for you to do but sit back and await the first live event.

We will update speaker biographies and talk topics as time goes by and we get closer to the live events.

We will stay in touch whenever there is a change to the material.

Looking forward to seeing you online in August/September 2022.
