Learn to spell the days and months! (PD427)
Come and join us once a day for a fun-packed lesson on spelling the days of the week and the months of the year!
Every day we will cover the meaning and spelling of the days of the week and the months of the year. By the end of the sessions, you will have created a set of beautiful sheets to help you study and remember these useful words.
Note: Prices are inclusive of 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST) for all Australian residents.
How it works
The September holidays consist of two weeks. Each weekday we will be delivering a lesson via Zoom on this subject. We will repeat these lessons the next week in case you miss a day, so you will have two opportunities to attend the lesson. You can also come twice if you want to! Also, if there are brothers and/or sisters in the house, you don’t have to buy a separate ticket for each kid. You can come as a family, no drama at all!
Each lesson lasts 45 minutes. You can ask questions and play games and do quizzes to help you remember the words in the lessons.
There is no age limit, BUT you do have to be able to write all the letters of the alphabet and you do have to be able to count up to three syllables in a word. So if you’re just starting out, these lessons might be a bit hard for you.
These lessons will be conducted by our very wonderful Lifelong Literacy staff. Lyn Stone will not be present. We will not be offering a recording, although recording will take place for training and quality purposes.
You will need:
- Access to Zoom
- A pen or a pencil
- 20 4-Step Process sheets (we will send you a link to a resources hub for this)
Timetable:
First round: Monday to Friday September 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 11am-11:45 am
Second round: Monday to Friday September 27, 28, 29, 30 and October 1 11am-11:45 am
If Paying by Invoice
Please choose the invoice option and we will send you an invoice. To ensure your place, you will have seven days from invoice date to pay.
